Also that the memory is expandable to 8 gigs. But there are no slots open. Which means that you cant add memory without taking some out. Also i love that its a quad processor. The hard drive is no big deal though and the video card is kind of good.Lightscribe I am also loving.Anyways enough of about my thoughts of the computer, what is everyone Else's thoughts?$1,100 dollar computer what does everyone think?
you put up useless info :-P like dvd drives the graphics card won't really get you anywhere maybe medium on some games i'd say upgrade and how much memory you have 2 GB?$1,100 dollar computer what does everyone think?
It has 3 gigs expandable to 8. But like there are 4 slots and none of them are open.
Oh yes and the type of memory the 5300 is a pretty good memory i hear.
Its OK but not very good for games to be honest... are you interested in gaming?
Nah i already have a gaming computer this is just like one for me only. My dad is getting it as a gift for me because i have been talking about quad cores for so long. But it is good enough for the games that i like to play. The video card is more than decent.

(Unless it is because you graduated or something, then I understand.)
So what will this PC be used for? If its going to be for homework or stuff like that then thats just a waste... why buy a quad core just for the sake of it?
Its OK but not very good for games to be honest... are you interested in gaming?
why isn't it very good going up in speed isn't going to help him at all the only reason he'd want something different is if he was overclocking which he most likely won't do at all
That's a POS. I can't believe you're going to spend $1100 on that.
quad core isn't really useful unless you editing videos, or doing 3d animations. For gaming, which i think you are since ur asking a question on a gaming site, get core 2 duo. Its plenty fast and with those saved money, go buya real graphics card. Remember, most regular software that you'll be using on a day to day basis will not be taking advantage of the 4 core. So unless your some1 like pixar go duo
Another guy who thinks that famous Quad core will be enough to run all games, very well even whit crappy GPU. Thath happens only cause some guys sooo hyped how great quad core is and how dual cores are outdated.... Go for cheap dual core, and much better GPU and also only 2GB of RAM. It will give you WAY better performance than Famous quad core, and crappy GPU.

You put a bunch of crap info as all DVD rom drives have at least decent specs on there and really didn't give us the important specs. The maker and model of your mobo is one example also as mentioned by others, that video card sucks big time if you like to play the newest games with any decent resolution and graphical settings.
