I have the x2 4200 overclocked on stock cooling and it runs great. I bought it in DEC.2006 when they were $199 U.S.D. Get the fastest C.P.U. that you can afford and if it happens to be the x2 4400 you will be fine for now.
Not as good as the X2 5600+ :P
you read my mind, x2 5600+ brother.
I have a 4400+ here in my oldest sons PC and it hold up very well in games and other applications. I don't see a need to upgrade it for a while.
