My Computer's Value and Hard Drive Question?

Ok, well I'm planning on upgrading, and building a new computer sometime in the next few months, and so I won't be needing my old computer. I know a few people who might be intrested in buying my decent computer, but I'm not sure how much it's worth...MY SPECS-
  • Manufacturer: Dell
  • Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.80GHz
  • Memory: 1022MB RAM
  • Hard Drive: 160 GB
  • Video Card: Radeon X1600 Series
  • Sound Card: SoundMAX Digital Audio
  • Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition
I was wondering if any of you could tell me what a good price would be to sell it for.ALSO, Is there a way to wipe my hard drive so its back to the way it was when I first got the computer new? Thanks! My Computer's Value and Hard Drive Question?
250 i would say for that rigMy Computer's Value and Hard Drive Question?
you could re-format your drive then re-install windows on it
just format your hard drive, if you have your windows installation dvd insert it then format your HD. I would sell your computer for $700.

So to re-format or whatever I just put the OS CD in? And that'll clear my HD? Thanks.
Re-format the HDD and install windows and it could sell for $500.
^I'm assuming his buyer isn't to well informed about his computer. He could sell it for that much, not that its worth that much just that there's probably somoene that would buy it. However The actual price is 300. So he can start at 700 and haggel with the guy.
Anyone else???
