As of now my computer is as follows: 3800X2 CPU@2200mhz, ASUS A8N-E 939 Mobo, 2GB A-DATA DDR400@440mhz, OCZ 620w PSU, PNY 8800gtx XLR8 @ 640mhz core and 1000mhz mem. So I've been playing all the newest games at full max x16 settings at 1680x1050 resolution with no lag at all and what I want to know is how much better it could be if I upgraded to higher-end parts. And if its worth it now to spend money on newer parts. Upgrading suggestions
That setup is fine for now.Upgrading suggestions
I just got a new job and need to spend some money though. I want to spend some money on my computer if it can be way better but I don't want it to be barley noticeable.
Then get a E4300,2GB SUPER TALENT DDR2 667 and a Gigabyte P35-DS3R and OC it to 3GHz.
Thats amazing that the e4300 will go that high and they are pretty cheap right now aren't they? IS that mobo good for overclocking? and does it have onboard sound, because I don't have a soundcard.

I was just reading up on the e4300 on tigerdirect and it says that the FSB is only 800mhz, and for $100 more I could get the E6750 or the E6550 which are 1333mhz FSB and both have 4mb L2 Cache. As I said before I am looking for something that will give a noticeable performance jump.
