_________________Secondly, due to neighbors, I'm contemplating getting a decent set of headphones. Would be preferable if these too were wireless, but I'd be ok with a long ass wire if that means better sound. Would also be nice if they offered some form of surround solution. Seems like a bit of mess to get decent such in headphones and I don't really know which solution is preferable, or at what price range it stops mattering and you're better off going with quality stereo. People are saying the Pioneer SE-DIR800C are awesome, but they're like $300, which is totally crazy. I was thinking somewhere around $100 here too.Two alternatives I've come up with. Both offering some kind of virtual surround.
Sennheiser HD-555 (Wired)
Philips SHC8585/00 (Wireless)I would like to need a wireless mouse and keyboard. Also, headphones.
Anyone?I'm kinda leaning towards the HD-555's, cause they're supposed to be awesome. Wire be damned. But I'm completely lost on the mouse + keyboard thing. There's no real way of knowing about lag as far as I know, so it's kind of hard to do any research.I would like to need a wireless mouse and keyboard. Also, headphones.
I'm guessing you're not American, but you should still go to newegg.com to look at some product reviews. They'll likely touch on things like response time.

Anyhows, I'll go do that.

Check out the big brain on Brett!Anyhows. Just realized I will have a chair, which I can move. Closer to the receiver. And a USB extension cable if I instead wanna move the receiver closer to me. By doing this I might be able to use my Logitech S510 without getting too annoyed. It is a compromise though and I'd prefer if there was a superawesome wireless keyboard out there. Or at least a better, less laggy one. Also I think I'm gonna go for the Sennheiser HD-555.
keyboard and mouse: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823126174 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106069for headphonesabout 50$ and then go buy battlefield 2 deluxe ves. so ull have fun with them
Can you gurantee that this mouse and keyboard does not lag or feel sluggish at the crazy distances I speak of?
Have now ordered a pair of Sennheiser HD-555. Still need advice on which keyboard to get. There doesn't seem to actually exist one that fulfills my requirements. Those being a standard keyboard that works properly across a distance of 5 meters. At least I can't find information that guarantees one of them does. Is there no one else on this forum who has hooked up their PC to their large ass HDTV and receiver? No one else on the internet I should say, having real difficulties finding anyone.
Bananahammock!
if your gonna game, get a g7 mouse and some kind of bluetooth keyboard
