Rate my new Laptop..

It is a Macbook Pro Santa Rosa, please don't bash i have a windows gaming computer. I love mac's and the school im going to requires a macbook. I went with pro because i want to game on it. Im putting Vista on it. And BF2142 comes out for Mac in semptember so im going to get that. Can I run BF2142 on high?Specs-

• Core 2 Duo 2.4 (4mb l2 cache)
• Nvidia 8600 GT 256mb
• 160 Gig 7200 RPM HDD
• 2 Gigs of DDR2 678mghrtz ram
• 15.4'' Matte 1400x900 LED
• 6x Superdrive DVD-RW+R

It's a pretty good notebook, but I can't see why a school would require you to get a Mac.
I would also like to know why and what school requires a Mac.But overall, nice for a laptop
