This is what happens when some marketing goofballs slap a ''Vista Ready'' sticker on a friggin monitor, as if 4:3 and 5:4, or even the craziest surround resolutions aren't ''ready'' for Vista. It just adds confusion to the less tech savy consumer. I wouldn't call this a stupid question he could have google'd in two seconds (though he could have) but a result of BS marketing.

[/QUOTE]I am not stupid or ignorant. I know it sounds like a stupid question, but as far as I know, every PC package these days comes with vista ted to a widescreen monitor. I thought that might be because Vista was 16:9 (actually 16:10...) only. Im asking so I dont have to buy two widescreen monitors instead of one and use my old one (4;3) for the comp. Those vista ready monitor stickers are a gimmick...and I know that.
