For some reason, everytime I double click on 3DMark06 (or any other Futuremark Product), it freezes at the System Scanning part, in the beginning where the little purplish square that says 3DMark06 comes up. I've installed all the addons it needs and have reinstalled it many times. This is all going on in XP Professional, but it does the same thing in Vista Ultimate too. I can never get past that system scan part. My specs are in my sig, I've enabled internet access for it also. I use PC Spyware Doctor and AVG Antivirus + Firewall 7.5. I can get it working on vista but not xp lol I even tried re-installing it
I found the solution to the prob by going to futuremark's website's FAQ for 3dmark 06, its something to do with the HD2900XT. It says on the site how to fix the prob, now it works great for me.

Is it a patch? Or just a workaround in a setting or file?
