Hey, I have a7900GTx2 4200+3 Gigs DDR2 ram480 watt psuNow...Im looking into getting a 8800GTS 320mb.....Is it honestly worth it? Is it a way better card than a 7900GT?Also, how long do you think the processer will ''last''? It runs a 6.30 and its socket AM2Thanks8800 gts 320mb
All I know is with my X2 4200+ and 8800GTS it does not perform as good as it should, maybe its my mobo? getting new one 8800 gts 320mb
1. your processor is good i wouldn't ugprade it 2. your card is a very good direct 9 card i wouldn't upgrade it also the 8800gts might have direct 10 but who cares there's very few games that support it and your card should max most games in direct 9 so i'd wait till the end of this year/early next year to upgrade because there might be better cards out and it will defiently be cheaper
You wont get much of a performance booste with a 6000+ and I wouldnt upgrade that 7900GT untill DX10.1 comes out you should be good for awile
