my sistem and windows Vista .pls help

hey i just bought a copy of windows vista ultimate ( actually i didin`t buy it, it was a gift from my parents) and i was thinking if i should install it on my sistem or should i leave Xp on it....i was wondering if it will decrease performance in games and stuff very much ?.or games and stuff will run almost the same?.My sistem specs are:Amd Sempron 2800 + oc`ed to 2000mhz ( 3400 + level) , Asus K8v Se deluxe , 2 Gb of ddram pc 3200 , GeForce 7600 Gt oc`ed , 400 Gb harddrive Sata 2, Creative Soundblaster Audigy Se 24 bit.my sistem and windows Vista .pls help
You can either 1.) Dual-boot with the 2 operating systems, 2.)let Vista over write XP, or 3.)buy a second hard drive and put Vista on there. When I'm forced to buy Vista in-order to play games, I will buy a second hard drive and toss Vista on it. If you choose the 2.) option that I listed, Vista will run run slow and older games will be buggy if they work at all.my sistem and windows Vista .pls help
ok...thanks alot....i just installed vista on a second partition and installed battle field 2 an it shutters on max settings on 1440X900 .....althought on xp i run it without a problem...+ there are a lot of bugs..like gliches on the grass etc......things that i don`t get on Xp...sp its probbably my cpu that isn`t strong enough for running games on vista ? ( cuz 2 gb of ram is enough for vista from what i know...and my video card can handle all of the new games on at least medium settings) ( till crysis comes out then i will upgrade to a quad core, gf8800 etc..) but till then i`m keeping this configuration...need an opinion pls..tnx
