Depends on the games, but I doubt it - few games really take advantage of more than 1GB of RAM right now.upgrading ram.... plz read and help quickly
Depends on the games, but I doubt it - few games really take advantage of more than 1GB of RAM right now.
that's a lie, most of new games will use more than 1024mb but not more than about 1200mb so upgrading to 2gb should help
alright now, this may sound kinda dumb but i really need to get this all cleared up b4 i buy new ramMy Mobo does not have ''dual channel'' slots, yet it has 3 slots supporting up to 3 gb
now i was looking around newegg for some ram and i ran into this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231047
will i not be able to run that on my mobo cause i dont dual channel slots???
Do you have vertical sync enabled on your options for the games? I think having it enabled can cause stutters/tearing.
Not worth upgrading to 2gb RAM because when you will change your CPU and mobo you will need DDR2. So I advice you to up upgrade up to 1.5Gb only

Dual-Channel is not a slot, it's a way two equal sticks of RAM operate to give increased memory bandwidth.
