My old spec

This is my spec:P4 3.0GHz1.5GB memory512mb 7600GS 128-bit----------------------------- will my spec survive this coming monster games like bioshock and assasins creed? My old spec
I'm afraid not... it looks fine if you are happy with low settings, but for anything else, your going to have to invest in a CPU with 2 or 4 cores and a better GPU.My old spec
yes it can but at like low-medium like the guy above me said it would be best to invest into a new card and cpu which shouldn't cost that much
yes it can but at like low-medium like the guy above me said it would be best to invest into a new card and cpu which shouldn't cost that much
That depends on the motherboard. He may need to buy a new motherboard and memory.
I say keep your current computer, its nice... I want to upg my P4 with better cooling, PSU, memory and a 7600GT AGP 4X... but I don't have the time, money, or place to do it. *Hugs P4*

Save your money and build a new computer from scratch, new drives, mobo, hardware, etc.

Your PC should be able to run Bioshock from what I hear, well I forgot what COU you were using but it should work. DUno about assassins creed.

-edit-
Now that I looked over your spec again, yes, I think you can run all the next gen games at low - med settings reasonably well. I suggest getting another 512Mbs of memory, your CPU / FX should be fine.
i have no problem with my PC when it comes to temperature because i live in a cold climate plus i plugged some coolers to add some cooling. My processors temperature runs at 27 degrees celcuis while my video card drops at 35 degrees celcuis
Keep it for now, the most important is that you can play those games and save money for a major upgrade
Keep it for now, the most important is that you can play those games and save money for a major upgrade
maybe your wright! im sick of those people saying to upgrade my video card to 8800 or my processor to core 2 duo. I'm still a student and i guess its better not to ask money from my parents to buy those things. If i'm employed and payed a high salary... maybe then i'll buy me a good desktop PC.
