^topic^ was the radeon 2900 a faliure
Failure now or failure at launch? ... either way - I say no.was the radeon 2900 a faliure
no, especially now.
Why do you ppls make that kind of topics. We dont know. For now neither 8800 or 2900 are failure. They are both good cards. But we will see which cards, if any, will be failure when we got some DX10 benchmarks. Bioshock is close, and that game should give us good view which card performs better in those first DX10 titles. Results for 8800 are very good. On IGN review (i think) they were running Bioshock maxed out in 1920x1200 whit 8800 GTX (single one), Quad core (but i doubt that quad gains much performance in that game compared to dual core) and 4GB of RAM, whit very smooth framerate, and just occasional glitches. I am sure 2900XT will do very well also. So no, 2900 is not faliure. But i guess you knew that, you just wanted to flame those forums.
