Finding a New Video Card.....

first off my specs are...

Dell 8400
Pentium 4 3.2 ghz
Nvidia 6800 256mb
Sound Blaster XtremeMusic
2GB DDR2 Ram
42'' Vivio 1080p (DVI>HDMI)

i'm going to be hooking up the xbox 360 hd-dvd add-on to the comp so i need a card that's good for hd viewing.. i also want something that's gonna have some decent poer to play games occasionally...

the cards i've been thinking about are the ....

8600GTS or maybe one of the 2600xt models but i don't know much about video cards so i was hoping to get some suggestions evan if it's something else besides the two i already talked about....

also i'd like to stay around 150$...
